Kenneth Jordan Il is a Southern American artist and art educator from Pensacola Florida. After earning his B.F.A. in 2015 from the University of West Florida, Kenneth maintains a studio practice here in Pensacola. Kenneth works primarily in crayon and pushes his wax medium in a new direction within the realm of contemporary realism, exploring themes related to spirituality, personal narrative, the human figure, and family.
His current body of work navigates the space of personal relationships and the impact they have on perception in life.
Kenneth's drawings have been in numerous exhibitions and auctions throughout the Gulf Coast, including O What a Night! Gala in New Orleans, "Taking a line for a Walk: 100 Years of Drawing and Printmaking" at the Pensacola Museum of Art, "Yr.8" Solo exhibition at the Artel Gallery, and "Table 7" a group exhibition at the TAG gallery at the University of West Florida.
